The Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art — which is currently hosting the first museum exhibit dedicated to street art — announced on its blog today that, thanks to an “unprecedented gesture” by featured artist Banksy, admission to the “Art in the Streets” exhibit will be free of charge every Monday from now until the exhibit shuts down on August 8th.
“I don’t think you should have to pay to look at graffiti,” Banksy told the museum. “You should only pay if you want to get rid of it.”
LOL oh, artists. :3 <3
